Caffeine & Machine – Is It Worth Going?

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when heading to Caffeine & Machine. I had seen the photos online and heard people talk about it, but until you actually drive up yourself it’s hard to know what it’s really like. I was excited though, and if I’m honest I was hoping to see a strong JDM presence. Places like this can go either way  sometimes you get a brilliant mix of cars, sometimes it’s mostly modern daily drivers  so the anticipation of what might turn up was half the excitement.

Arriving At The Location!

As you arrive the first thing you notice is the setting. The scenery around the venue is genuinely beautiful. It feels like a countryside pub that just happens to have become a hub for petrolheads. The roads leading there are perfect for a drive, winding through open countryside before suddenly opening up to the venue itself. It gives the whole place a relaxed road-trip vibe rather than feeling like a formal car event.

So What's Here?!

BAR!

Once you get inside the venue there are a few key areas. First up there’s a really nice bar area where people are sitting down chatting about cars, grabbing drinks and just soaking in the atmosphere. Average pint of lager price is around £6.60 which this day in age is about right!

THE BEER 8/10
Their own branded lager was actually really nice and worth trying.

THE PRICE 7/10
As previously stated the price for beer was fair.

FOOD

Then you’ve got a food stand which keeps things simple but works well for the kind of place.

FOOD: 2/10
Honestly it may have just been bad timing but i had the BBQ Pizza slice and it was £6.50 which is fair enough at these places but it was bad. It was rock hard and when you did manage to bite through it, it was the same effect as when you blow the leaves off a dead dandelion. This was simply pizza that had been stood for a LONG TIME and certainly in my opinion wasn't made that day. You can see the selection in the heaters above and we was there on opening... so make of it what you will!

PRICE: 6.5/10
Still an pricey pizza slice (of cardboard) But fair enough.

PLEASE NOTE WE ONLY VISITED THE FOOD STAND. THERE WAS A RESTUARANT INSIDE WHICH PEOPLE STATED THE FOOD WAS GOOD

MERCH SHOP!

There’s also an apparel shop which is full of Caffeine & Machine merchandise. The merch looks cool, but I won’t lie it’s expensive. A hoodie was around £79.99 and even a hat was £39, which definitely caught me off guard. A friend who attended with me had every intention of buying a hoodie before seeing the tag!!

COFFEE!

The Coffee was awesome and the K&N Cups was a great touch!

Coffee 9/10
Tasty not weak plenty of froth. Just how a coffee should be with plenty of selection.

Price 8/10
£3.50

Our Top Car Picks Of The Day

Of course, the real highlight of any visit to Caffeine & Machine is the cars themselves. Some people arrive in daily drivers, others bring some seriously interesting builds, and every now and then something special rolls in that stops everyone in their tracks. Here's Our Top 3 of the day. 14/03/2026

Number 3 Toyota MR2

Fantastic to see such a clean example of an MR2. Sadly, so many of these beautiful cars are left to rot or simply mistreated over time, but not this one. This example was looking really nice overall. There was a small bit of attention needed on the passenger side, but aside from that it’s a truly beautiful car.

Well done to the owner for keeping it in such great shape. Handle below.

Number 2 Mitsubishi Evolution 8

Here was a beautiful example of an Evo 8. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, who was a genuinely nice guy. He’s owned the car for over 18 years, so it’s clear how much he loves it. This is very much a weekend car for him. He was very honest about the build and was happy with most of it, aside from a few small carbon bits. Overall, this is a fantastic example and an absolute pleasure to look around. (The sound of it leaving had everyone turning heads)

Number 1 R32 Nissan Skyline

Now for me, this was the most impressive car of the entire show. There were plenty of high-power supercars around, but this one takes the number one spot purely because of the pride and passion for the car which is exactly what the scene is all about.

The owner was a real gent and spent time talking with us, showing us the car inside and out. Despite multiple soft offers from my friend, he definitely had no intention of swapping or selling it and honestly, you can’t blame him LOOK AT HER!

The interior was absolutely spotless, and the road presence on the outside was in a world of its own. This is exactly the kind of car that makes events like this special.

Is It Worth Going?

So is it worth going? Honestly yes. What makes the place special isn’t necessarily the size of it, because it’s actually not massive. The real excitement comes from the unpredictability of it. You never know what’s going to roll through the gates next.

One minute it could be a classic Porsche, the next a modified BMW, then suddenly something completely unexpected like a Skyline or a rare Japanese import. Because the venue isn’t huge, you also get the opportunity to talk to a lot of the owners. People are generally relaxed, friendly and happy to talk about their cars, which makes the whole experience feel more like a community than just a car meet. The whole concept is built around bringing people together who love cars and bikes of all kinds.

Finally a big thanks to the boys we came down with give them a follow!
